The areas that you can visit, are characterized by producing oil, timber, agricultural and ranching in the Amazon region, in terms of the sierra region, is an agricultural production, livestock and flower. Since 2001, tourism is the fourth item of currency of Ecuador, with a total of $ 430 million, after oil exports, remittances from migrants and bananas. The largest amount of tourists come from the United States, Europe (especially Germany) and Latin America (mainly Colombia). As ecotourism, Ecuador offers many options because of its wide range of environmental conditions, generating an impressive diversity of habitat and vegetation types. Have been inventoried more than 920 tourist attractions, of these, around 520 are natural, especially the national parks, forests, rivers and lakes, mountains, and so on. |
